Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist

Kirton Point Children’s Centre has two Allied Health staff members that are available on site part time.

Our Occupational Therapist (OT) and Speech Pathologist (SP) support parents in promoting positive developmental outcomes in children. This is achieved through facilitating developmental playgroups and workshops for families to access, and providing more individually suited information to parents for topics such as developmental milestones, communication, self care (sleep, toilet training, dressing and feeding) and emotional regulation.

Our Allied Health Staff are also available to support Centre staff in identifying children at risk of developmental delay, and providing education around developmental issues that may arise across our Community, Occasional Care and Preschool programs.
